MATE EM 5 / MATE IN 5 - SOLVING TACTICS

CHESS AJEDREZ XADREZ ECHECS SCHACH ESCACS

The chess pieces are the block alphabet which shapes thoughts; and these thoughts, although making a visual design on the chess-board, express their beauty abstractly, like a poem…
I have come to the personal conclusion that while all artists are not chess players, all chess players are artists.” - Marcel Duchamp

DO YOU BELIEVE ? CAN YOU DO IT ?

WHY MR. ANDERSON ?

"Why, Mr. Anderson ?
Why, why, why ?!
Why do you do it ?
Why, why get up ?
Why keep fighting ?
Do you believe you’re fighting for something, for more than your survival ?
Can you tell me what it is, do you even know ?!
Is it freedom, or truth, perhaps peace, could it be for love ?
Illusions, Mr. Anderson, vagaries of perception.
Temporary constructs of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose !
And all of them as artificial as the matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love.
You must be able to see it Mr. Anderson, you must know it by now.
You can’t win, it’s pointless to keep fighting !
Why, Mr. Anderson, why ?
Why do you persist ?!"

No help here, you are white and you move to win...

Solution:

1.Rh8 !, Kf7;

2.Be8 !!, Nxe8;

3.Kg5 !, Bxe4;

4.Rf8++

MATRIX - NEO

Play the white pieces and crush the enemy !

Solution:

1.Qxh7+ !!, Nxh7;

2.Nxf7+!, Nxf7;

3.Ng6++

"The One:
I know you're out there.
I can feel you now.
I know that you're afraid.
You're afraid of us. You're afraid of change.
I don't know the future.
I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end.
I came here to tell you how it's going to begin.
I'm going to hang up this phone and then
I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see.
I'm going to show them a world without you, a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries, a world where anything is possible.
Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you."
